Printing activities provide the opportunity to print documents directly from SharePoint workflow automatically. The following items can be printed: documents (PDF, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, text files) and images (PNG, JPG, TIFF).

The most common example of printing activities usage: the workflow allows you to automatically print the documents which are added to the specified document library. It is a really important tool which provides great opportunities for automatization of the business processes based on your SharePoint environment.
