HarePoint Analytics for SharePoint Online Version 1.7 released!

We are excited to announce the release of HarePoint Analytics for SharePoint Online, Version 1.7 Build 72! This latest update brings a host of new features and enhancements designed to improve user experience and streamline analytics processes.

New Features:

• Enhanced Permission Modes: Users can now select from two new permission modes during registration: Read Only and Selected Only. This added flexibility allows for more tailored access control. For detailed instructions, please refer to the product manual.
• Custom PowerShell Scripts:

  — Automate granting read permissions to specified sites with our newly available custom PowerShell script.

  — A second script is now available to automate the retraction of SPFx from both the App Catalog and SharePoint Sites, simplifying management tasks.

• Manual Data Collection Mode: We’ve introduced a new data collection mode that allows users to manually collect data, offering greater control over analytics processes.

Power BI Updates:

• Reworked Geography Report: The geography report has undergone a significant redesign, now featuring a geographical hierarchy that includes continent, country, and city for more detailed insights.
• Date-Related Slicers Overhaul: We have reworked the date-related slicers to enhance usability and functionality.
• New Filters: Additional filters have been integrated into both the "Filters on all pages" and "Filters on this page" panes, providing users with more options for customizing their reports.
• Date Hierarchy for Visuals: Users can now utilize a date hierarchy for all date-related visuals, making it easier to analyze trends over time.
