Meet HarePoint Analytics for SharePoint Online version 1.5.2 Build 64 with exciting new features!

On February 2, 2024 we uploaded a new version of our popular analytics tool "HarePoint Analytics for SharePoint Online". This update introduces a host of new features designed to enhance performance and user experience.

One of the most notable improvements is the significant reduction in the size of the JavaScript-based telemetry collector, which not only streamlines data collection but also boosts its overall performance. In addition, users can now enable the collection of OneDrive (Personal) sites on demand, expanding the analytics capabilities for individual users and organizations alike. Data collection for OneDrive sites is enabled for each user upon request. Currently only a basic set of reports for OneDrive sites is available, we are working on expanding reporting capabilities for OneDrive sites and now the set of reports will grow every month.
The update also brings several enhancements to the Client Portal. Users can now download the SharePoint Application (SPFx) directly from the portal for manual installation. Additionally, a custom PowerShell script is available for download, allowing for automated deployment of SPFx to App Catalog and SharePoint Sites when utilizing the Sites.Selected or Sites.ReadAll permission model.

For Power BI users, the "Overview Page" has seen significant upgrades, with improved graphs and filters enhancing data visualization. Key report pages such as "Overview," "Files and Pages," "Document Libraries and Lists," "Document Library or List Content," "Search," and "Search Term Details" have all been refined for better usability. The HarePoint Analytics for SharePoint Information grid has also received a facelift, improving both its appearance and functionality.

Moreover, the update addresses previous issues by fixing the calculation of active SharePoint users in specified time range and redesigning the algorithm for calculating the User Version dimension table, ensuring more accurate and precise reporting.

The new version of HarePoint Analytics promises to deliver improved performance and greater flexibility, making it an essential tool for organizations looking to maximize their SharePoint experience.
