Situation:
We were looking for a way to automate the creation of SharePoint Forms Based User Accounts. We were planning to launch a web portal that would have a relatively large amount of users and that user base would increase as time went on, so we wanted to make this process as efficient as possible. HarePoint Workflow Extensions allowed us to automate this process entirely and the results have been excellent. We created a workflow that not only created the accounts, but also emailed the new user to welcome them and provide them with a PDF document that contained all the training information we desired.
